The Center for Peace and Dialogue at the University of Religions and Denominations will host an academic webinar on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her), exploring her legacy from the perspective of a Christian scholar.

The webinar, entitled “Lady Zaynab from the Perspective of a Christian Scholar,” will feature a presentation by Fr. Dr. Christopher Clohessy, a faculty member at the Pontifical Institute for Arabic and Islamic Studies (PISAI) in Rome. His presentation, titled “Sources and Textual Problems with the Sermons of Lady Zaynab,” will examine the sources and textual issues associated with the sermons attributed to Lady Zaynab.

The webinar aims to provide an academic perspective on Lady Zaynab’s legacy through the study of historical sources and textual evidence, while fostering interreligious understanding and scholarly dialogue.
