University of Religions and Denominations Signs MOU with Ibn Sina Foundation

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the University of Religions and Denominations and Ibn Sina Islamic Studies Foundation(Russia) to expand educational, research and international cooperation and strengthen academic exchanges between the two institutions.
The MOU was signed by Dr. Mostafa Jafar Teyyari, President of URD, and Dr. Hamid Hadavi, President of the Ibn Sina Islamic Studies Foundation.

The MOU aims to expand educational, research and international cooperation, utilize the academic capacities of both institutions, and implement joint programs in Islamic studies and the humanities.

Under the MOU, the two sides will cooperate on joint research projects, workshops, conferences and academic meetings, as well as the translation, writing and publication of scholarly works. Other areas of cooperation include organizing international conferences and academic and cultural programs, exchanging professors and researchers, inviting scholars and experts from other countries, cooperating with international academic organizations and institutions, and promoting and disseminating Islamic thought.
The Ibn Sina Islamic Studies Foundation is an active academic institution in Russia specializing in Islamic studies and Iranian studies.

The signing of the MOU is expected to provide a framework for expanding academic and research cooperation between the two institutions and strengthening university-level exchanges between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation.
