In order to boost scientific and research collaborations, Italian ambassador visited the University of Religions and Denominations on April 28^th.

Hosted by Dr. Navvāb, president of URD, Mauro Konchater stressed on the popularity of interreligious activities of the university among the common people of his country in addition to the scholars.

He also pointed to the two biggest challenges before the international community as confronting terrorism and establishing peace.

In this meeting Dr. Navvāb urged the west to understand Iran^, s commitment to rationality and moderation and stop backing the oppressor side in the regional clashes.

He also expressed his institute^, s extensive preparedness for expanding scientific cooperation with its Italian counterparts.

At the end of this meeting the memorial emblem of the university was granted to the Italian ambassador.
