According to the public relations report of the university, the memorandum of cooperation between the Religions and Denominations University and Badakhshan University of Afghanistan was signed with presence of Hojat-ul-Islam-wal-Muslimin Seyyed Abul Hassan Nawab the president of Religions and Denominations University and Mr. Dr. Naqiuddin Ghazi the president of Badakhshan University of Afghanistan and the accompanying delegation at the Religions and Denominations University.

Mr. Naqiuddin Ghazi Zadeh, the president of Badakhshan University, said: Islam is a religion of brotherhood, unity and integrity. Also, this is emphasized in all Abrahamic religions and we also follow this goal. Our purpose of this trip is planning in the field of scientific relations with Iran’s universities, especially the Religions and Denominations University. We need to expand our connections with this university. Our other goal is to create inter-university memorandums to expand our cooperation in this field. Among these cooperations will be the exchange of professors, students, awarding scholarships, etc.

He said: God willing, may God increase the unity of the Islamic population more than before, until we can win against the main enemy and have good achievements in the field of science and research, and become an example of the verse “And prepare against them whatever you are able of power”.

Dr. Seyed Abulhasan Nawab, President of Religions and Denominations University after the words of Mr. Naqiuddin Ghazi Zadeh, in the continuation of the meeting, emphasized on establishing more relations between the two universities and said: We have many students in our university from Afghanistan. Also, we are ready to cooperate and accept students in doctoral and post-graduate degrees and accept new student. Also, we created research-oriented courses for those who work and live in their own country and cannot leave their country, so that these loved ones can study online and stay in touch with our professors.

He continued: “We have all the fields related to the topics Mr. Ghazi Zadeh mentioned in this university, and students can continue their studies in these fields.” In this university, we have theology of Islamic religions, theology of jurisprudence, comparative jurisprudence, etc. About 90 fields are active in this university. We are ready to cooperate for professor exchange, delegation exchange, joint research work, etc. The Religions and Denominations University is the brother of Al-Mustafa University. I am a member of Al-Mustafa’s board of trustees, and Al-Mustafa’s chairman is also the chairman of the founding board here. We work together and have three or four members of the Board of Trustees of Religions University and Al-Mustafa University is same. Your cooperation with these loved ones is also appreciated and should be expanded.

Hojat-ul-Islam-wal-Muslimin Nawab stated: I have traveled to Afghanistan a lot and I have even been to Badakhshan and I have also visited the tomb of Seyyed Ali Hamedani and I have memorized some of his poems. Poems of this poet are printed on Tajikistan money. Like this part, whoever throws a thorn in our path from enmity / let every flower bloom from its garden without thorns. This poem shows that Afghanistan has very good poets. We are interested to have effective exchanges with Badakhshan University in all scientific fields.
