Majlis Speaker at URD: if Alive, Henry Corbin Definitely Would Like this University

Dr. Ali Larijani the speaker of Iranian Parliament (Majlis) visited the University of Religions and Denominations on the birth anniversary of the prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H).

Dr. Ali Larijani the speaker of Iranian Parliament (Majlis) visited the University of Religions and Denominations on the birth anniversary of the prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H).

Having been welcomed by Dr. Navvab, the president of URD, Dr. Ali Larijani the speaker of Majlis presented a lecture to a number of professors, researchers and students of the university on the importance of unity of Muslims.

Congratulating the international week of Muslims Unity, Larijani stressed that today the need for universities like URD is so vital that if the French Shialogist Henry Corbin were alive, he definitely would like this university because it makes a great contribution to the unity of the believers of all religions.

Larijani also pointed to the present situation of the Middle East and the enigmatic crisis of ISIS and added that one of the most significant reasons behind the emergence of such a terrorist group is its members, misunderstanding of Islam, though their political supporters should not be ignored.

At the end of this ceremony some of the students graduated recently from URD received their certificate from the hands of Dr. Larijani and Navvab.
