According to the reports of the University’s public relations office, Dr. Seyyed Abbas Salehi, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, held a cordial meeting with the followers of various religions and denominations and the activists of this sphere on the occasion of the ‘Fajr Decade’ (Daheye Fajr) on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, wherein he honored HIWM Seyyed Abolhasan Navvab, the President of the University of Religions and Denominations, for his activities by awarding a certificate of appreciation.

In a time when the hegemonic system and the false claimants of religion and denomination are spreading hatred and drumming antagonism and blocking the way for coexistence, I am grateful to those who devote their noble endeavors and valuable experiences to learn more about other religions and denominations and use their existential and epistemic capitals in religious cohesion, forbearance, and moral and human tolerance and open the way for dialogue and interaction between scholars and followers of religions and denominations.

On the forty-first anniversary of the victory of the glorious Islamic Revolution, which is based on religion, culture, and ethics, I thank you and your colleagues for this tremendous effort and valuable accomplishment, and I wish more successes for that great institute in the national and international arenas.
