It is important to know the history of the development of every science for understanding its issues, and someone is able to examine the change of a science who knows the works and scientific methods of the past scientists. Henceforth, anyone who wants to study jurisprudence (Fiqh) has to be aware of the development of jurisprudence as well as its emergence. Periodization is a technique (or skill( which can be turned into science, because knowing the periods of any science helps so much to deeply understand its content. Therefore, if the science of jurisprudence and its different periods are examined together, it will leads to a better understanding of the science issues. The aim of this research is to provide and analyze the variables which affect different periods of jurisprudence in a systematic way. Periodization has been based on main variables and sub-variables and, it seems first necessary to study the works of those who are pioneers in dividing the jurisprudence periods in order to obtain the variables with the lowest error rate. Main variables (independent) and sub-variables (dependent) have played a role in this research. Consequently, the change of thought within the context of time and place is considered as the main variables (independent) thanks to the components of principle, methods and new issues changes, and the sub-variables (dependent) of change in jurisprudence are focused on the knowledge itself, action-oriented, political and social conditions, other sciences and the struggle among religious schools, which are all systematically presented. To achieve the same goal in this research, this method of study is considered as top priority.
