Rationality in a Feminine Narrative (Quranic Discourse)
The Holy Quran speaks of three types of rationality: “pre-gender rationality,” which pertains to the essence of humanity without considering gender implications; “transcendent rationality,” which possesses an elevated status and includes both men and women; and “gendered rationality,” which acknowledges the bodily differences between men and women without deviating from their inherent shared rights based on their common nature.
This research presents a feminine narrative of epistemology and ontology of feminine rationality in the Quran, demonstrating that according to Quranic teachings, the social participation of creative, rational, and civilization-building women alongside men leads to a more beautiful, prosperous, peaceful, compassionate, and just world.
