In this dissertation, our main concern is the application of beautiful vocabulary in Islamic traditions. There are many traditions related to beauty and aesthetic, but here we only concentrate on those traditions that apply terms related to beauty.
In the first chapter we discuss our sources of the Prophet’s words. The way that we make the corpus of Arabic words related to beauty and we mention the previous works on this subject. At the end there is a quick review of aesthetic thoughts in western philosophy and Islamic philosophy and mysticism.
The second chapter contains all the traditions with beautiful vocabulary in K’afi. The third chapter categorized these traditions in two main groups: inward beauty and exoteric beauty.
