The star was born in Makkah in the year (812 AH), and he is from the Alawite family whose lineage ends with Imam Ali (peace be upon him). And he took many students from his knowledge and they became prominent scholars. The study of Arab-Muslim historians is one of the most important historical studies because it reveals an important episode of the nation’s intellectual heritage, defines the features of Arab-Islamic history, and consolidates the method of historical research. These studies necessitate getting to know the historians’ curricula, writing methods, sources and works, which he considers one of the means that leads to revealing the sources of their information.
