Surveying the narrative tradition of Ashoura relying on Paul Ricœur, s thought

Without a doubt, the event of Imam Hossein^, s Ashoura is the greatest and most inspiring phenomenon in the history of Islam, as most of the rituals and historiographies in the world of Islam belong to it. Such a greatness has made it a hard and challenging task to analyze this event as a live and present  phenomenon. Though the contemporary researches on Ashoura have contributed a lot to the expansion of theoretical discussions in this issue, this researches seem to be unable to create a strong link with the social body of Ashoura rituals, being influenced by traditional research methods. This gap necessitates the creation of new theoretical horizons in order to survey the process of formation and continuation of The phenomenon of Ashoura. Among the contemporary philosophers of the world, the French Paul Ricœur^, s thought in Hermeneutics, Narratology and Epistemology of history has always been paid attention by the researchers. Clarifying   notions  like collective anecdote, narrative tradition, historical narration in his tuought,  could have fresh contributions in revising Ashoura as  a live narrative tradition for the use of Ashoura researchers. This essay tries to identify Ricœur^, s epistemological clarification of history as a replacement for the current methods of historiology. This essay, in addition, tries to examine this thoughts, after being illustrated, based on the event of Ashoura  and show that from this point of view every important incident like Ashoura could be scrutinized  not as a passed  event but like a dynamic phenomenon along with all its extend and aspects, and find an answer for a lot of complicated questions.
