Art and beauty in view of Henrry Corbin

Henry Corbin as a phenomenologist and esoteric philosopher comes to iran and gets acquainted with great Islamic and Iranian illuminati philoshophers like shehaboddin sohrewardi and ibn arabi . corbin wants to introduce this philosophy to western philosophy. Corbin believes that imagination world is an important issue in this oriental wisdom and Sophia aeterna and this imagination view influences world of existence and world of  knowledge. There are, in this world , mysticum and spirituale corpus and reality – Archetypes , so this world is the place of  hypostasized  and  symbolic wisdom . imagination world is mesocosm and so is very important and effective for view of Corbin about art and aesthetic .  This world in oriental wisdom of  Corbin is a place  for incarnation, so as a result of  this opinion, origin of  beauty has existentiating theophany in imagination world and every artistic works come into existence from this existentiating theophany. Now there is a question, what is meaning of art and aesthetic in view of Corbin ?  In this thesis , also I discuss of the  phenomenological  method that Corbin uses it for studying about Iranian – Islamic culture and art.
