“The Study and edition of the second third part of manuscripts of Uns al-Munqaṭiʿīn ilā ʿibādat rabb al-ʿālamīn (by Muhammad b. Ismā’īl Muʿāfā al-Muṣilī) “

One of the Muslim Mystics from 12th and 13th century is Muʿāfā b. Ismā’īl al-Muṣilī al-Shāfiʿī (1156-1233) who has many works in Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh), Ḥadith, Commentary of the Qur’an, and Mysticism (taṣawwuf) in Arabic. One of his mystical works is Uns al-munqaṭiʿīn ilā ʿibādat rabb al-ʿālamīn. This book is consisted of 300 chapters in each one there is at least one hadith, one narration, and one poem. There are many manuscripts survived from this book. The aim of this thesis is to present a critical edition of the second third part of the book (chapters 101-200) based on three old manuscripts with an introduction about the manuscripts of the books and a short analysis of it.
