Water crisis is one of the serious challenges on the international, regional and local (Iranian society) dimensions. The fulfillment of environmental ethics of religions, especially of Islam, which is the most complete human’s order of life, is the best way to overcome the existing environmental crisis, especially the one which is related to water. This thesis consists of translations of some papers of a book which are mainly concern with the water ethics. The common idea and theory in all the papers is that one can prevent water shortage and pollution by promotion of ethics of water. Among the topics which are discussed in these series of papers and in this thesis, are: Water management ethics in the framework of environmental and general ethics: The case of Islamic water ethics, Ethics and trans boundary issues, relationship between economy and water, Water and the twin challenge of feeding and poverty in rural areas, Specific aspects of the use of groundwater and its ethical principles. The conclusion indicates that this theory is a correct one, and if we can promote the moral principle of conservation of water among the people, then this problem will almost be in control. Our method in this study while writing an analytical introduction is a qualitative one. In translating the papers we used the standards for transforming the ideas from original text to destination language( Persian) and we used appropriate concepts and equivalents. New equalizations are also done when necessary.
