Wahhabism and Ibadiyya are two living sects of the Islamic world, with two different approaches and different ideas. Ibadiyya was taken from the thoughts of Jabir ibn Zayd Azdi and Wahhabism was taken from the Salafi thoughts of Ahmad Ibn Hanbal and was influenced by the thoughts of Ibn Taymiyyah. Wahhabism can be called the executor of Ibn Taymiyyah’s thoughts. The aim of this treatise is to get acquainted with the history and beliefs of Wahhabism and Ibadiyya in two completely different times. One in the first period of Islam and under the leadership of Abdullah ibn Ibad and the other in the 12th century AH under the leadership of Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab, with completely different beliefs; Ibadiyya with a perfectly balanced spirit and Wahhabism with a violent and violent spirit, which has had a great impact on the thoughts and beliefs of these two sects. The monotheism and attributes of God are Imamate, prophethood and life after death. Most of these differences are due to the interpretation used by Ibadiyya and the appearance of Wahhabism in the discussion of monotheism and attributes. This is one of the aims of this dissertation.
