The theory of Shiite Imamate has various rational and narrative reasons and documents. These reasons and documents are discussed in doctrinal and theological texts. One of the main documents of the special Imamate and the twelve Imams is the narrated documents. Many hadiths and narrations in Shiite texts indicate this and Shiites are adamant in this discussion. In addition, Shiites also refer to non-Shiite narrations in the discussion of special Imamate. These quotations have been included in various sources of Islamic sects, including in narrative societies and interpretive texts. One of these interpretive texts, which contains many documents in this discussion, is the Thalabi commentary called Al-Kashf and Al-Bayan. This commentary has been one of the sources cited in the discussion of special Imamate by Shiite scholars for centuries since its compilation. In the present treatise, an attempt has been made to extract, first, the narrations confirming the Shiite Imamate from this interpretation; And secondly, the validity of these quotations should be assessed. As we will see, these quotations are also seen in other Sunni texts and their quotations are not limited to Thalabi’s interpretation. This point can be a confirmation of the value and validity of these narrations in the eyes of the Sunnis, and therefore these narrations can be protested and cited against other Islamic sects in the discussion of the special Imamate and the appointment of the twelve Imams.
