This thesis aims to compare the job satisfaction of correspondents in the visual and written media, so a sample of 57 male and female correspondents in the visual and written media in Iraq was selected, especially in the Iraqi newspaper Al-Dustour and Al-Furat satellite channel. The field results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the level of job satisfaction according to the media institution in which they work, at the level of material rights, moral rights, internal work obstacles, external work obstacles, and the moral capabilities of the media. While there are statistically significant differences in the level of job satisfaction the capabilities of the physical media according to the media institution in which they work. The field results also showed that the material rights of reporters achieve job satisfaction to a moderate degree, the moral rights of reporters achieve job satisfaction positively, in addition to the fact that there are internal obstacles to the media institutions in which they work, which do not encourage reporters and do not achieve job satisfaction for them. Also, the external obstacles to work negatively affect the performance of correspondents in covering events. In addition, the moral potential of the media organizations in which they work achieves the job satisfaction of reporters positively, and is consistent with the principles they believe in.
