The crime of electronic extortion and its effects a comparative study, of front-line jurisprudence and Iraqi law with its judicial applications

Electronic extortion is one of the modern crimes that are added to our contemporary world، and “electronic extortion” is not a traditional crime، but rather a crime that occurs in the electronic and figurative reality، but it has effects in the external reality on the individual and society، and on some different levels in life، and for that، religion must put Deterrent provisions for this crime، as religion accompanies life at all times، and states and governments have put in place some provisions and laws that contribute to curbing this crime، and Iraqi law has adapted some of its articles to confront this crime. Through this thesis، we searched for everything related to this crime in its psychological، social and security effects، its types and methods، and what it causes in social reality in terms of the destruction of social values، and we were exposed to the rule of Islamic Sharia according to the frontal doctrine of this modern crime، as well as the articles criminalizing electronic extortion according to Iraqi law. Through what we have presented in this message، we find many results have emerged، namely، that the crime of electronic extortion may be accompanied by some other crimes such as adultery، suicide، violence، theft، etc.، and it crosses borders، and this crime does not limit borders، and that the majority of the target in this crime، who falls victim Women are the women، and that the biggest motives for this crime are money and sex، although there are other motives، and we must sound the alarm in society for this crime، and that efforts must be combined between Sharia، law and educational and media institutions to set laws and provisions and reduce this crime. We have tried everything we can to gain knowledge and collect the scattering of this vital and modern topic، and to develop appropriate solutions to curb this modern crime that has occurred in the social reality as a result of the development in life، in addition to that we have reviewed and presented what are applied models from the corridors of the judicial trial and the security services and what is happening In it، to be a living witness to the seriousness of this crime in society so that religious، educational، media and security institutions realize their responsibility and assign them to confront and limit this crime.
