The Salafi-Zaidiyya movement represents a kind of religious reformism that emerged in 9th (Hejira) century in Yemen to confront Zaidis, excessive i-tizal (to isolate), and being deeply affected by The Ahl-as-Sunnah Hadith scholars, Salafiyya and their thoughts, started to contest the rationalistic approach of Zaidiyya. This process of affectedness proceeded so much that the Salafi-Zaidiyya movement turned to be the first Salafiyya-depended movement defending Ibn Taymiyyah and Ibn Ghayyem,s salafi thoughts. Salafi-Zaidiyya enjoying a moderate salafist approach, was itself gradually stricken with a kind of excessive salafism (Takfiri), after the rise of Mohhamad Ali Shoukani and getting closer to Takfiri-Salafi movement. This research surveys different aspects of the Salafi-Zaidiyya as a movement affected by the principles of thought of Ahl-as-Sunnah Hadith scholars and Salafiyya, in three periods: the emergence, the development, and the authority. This work, first surveys the grounds for the emergence of a movement affected by Salafiyya school, then clarifies the thoughts, literature and attitudes of its salafi founder, Ibn- ul- Vazeer. This research, taking a character-based look continues with surveying the salafi thoughts and opinions of the theoreticians of this movement on subjects like Towhid (monotheism),‌ Shirk (polytheism), Bid-ah(heresy) and Tawassol (appealing).
