Examination of the teachings of Ahl-E-Haqq, one of the sects associated with Shiism, is of the utmost importance; since, on the one hand the opponents of Shiism regard them as Shiite and on the other hand the majority of Shiites keep away from them because of their exaggeration. The status of Imam Ali (PBUH) in their beliefs is one of the most important issues concerned with this sect. That is why the explanation of the status of Imam Ali (PBUH) in Ahl-E-Haqq is the issue with which this dissertation is concerned. The research claims that according to Ahl-E-Haqq Imam Ali (PBUH) is the manifestation of God. Some evidence based on the sayings of the Ahl-E-Haqq is provided to support this claim. The data gathering is library based although field study has also been made use of. It goes without saying that Ahl-E-Haqq exaggerate as regards the status of Imam Ali (PBUH) so that some regard them as Ali Allahi (those who regard Imam Ali as God), believing in the divinity of Imam Ali (PBUH). However, the research shows that in spite of their exaggeration, they are Muslim, monotheistic, and adherents of Shariah and the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH); they believe in the holy Quran, prophethood, and the Imamate of the Twelve Imams (PBUT). But, they also adhere to the traditions and rituals inherited from the sayings of their Sheikhs. The most important point is that they regard Imam Ali (PBUH) as the manifestation of God.
