According to chosen definition of this paper, human is living theologian, it means he never goes out of orbit of life but his order of life depends on his kind of his connection to God that possess inherent life. According to revelation, good action along with faith, results in pure life or the life of the highest order for every man and woman. This life means contentment according to Nahj al-Balagha, but in existing commentaries and researches, it is not paid attention. In this paper, In order to achieve an accurate meaning of contentment and get its relation to pure life, we have used all the quotes of Imam Ali (pub). Every action has a growth and every growth needs water. If a person, for quenching thirst of his life chooses dark and vicious water of the world, his life becomes evil. But by approaching toward nature and answering the call of Allah and the Prophet Mohammad (pub) and doing good action faithfully, the man addresses living and his greed wipes out completely. Because this world and hereafter are like east and west, so being far from one means getting close to another. Therefore the action is nourished by clean spring and directed to hereafter that is the house of living and Allah and stinginess of soul toward hereafter will disappear. Allah is living and immutable. The fruit of this purification resulted in fair behavior to the world and hereafter without carnal soul and along with peaceful soul. Contentment and purifying from the world and Fascination with the afterlife through adherence to the Sunnah of the Prophet and the Ahl al-Bait or good action along with faith are issued easily in form of faculty. And depending on his level of faith, his understanding and action are transformed in color of Allah’s certainty and mercy.
