This is comparative research run on soul and body correlation in Islamic philosophy of Mulla Sadra and Emergentism. The creation and evolution of soul / mind to essay the possibility and necessity of afterlife and ontological reward after death are assessed here. Objectives: a) the current explanations in  islamic philosophy of religion about purgatory, resurrection and recurrence is based on immateriality and separation of soul, but these arguments depend on ancient physics; One of the main objectives of this thesis is to assess these arguments with the scientfic philosophy of emergentism; B) studying and understanding the interaction of science and religion regarding soul and body to providing new solutions for apparent contradictions between these approaches; C) Seeking to develop  and improve the principles of islamic psychology; D) Reviewing current secular psychology and attempting to promote  human soul belive and its relevant morale and perceptions; E) Measuring the islamic philosophy against scientific achievements of the present world; F) Providing new intellectual horizons for theologians, philosophers and psychologists. Methodology: The method adopted here is problem oriented research mettod; here the emergentism (emergence of mind) and Sadra’s theory on origination of soul (Corporeality of Soul) is assessed based on a comparative analysis (content analysis of philosophical and scientific texts), reasoning, critical and interdiciplinary study. Results: As to emergentism twenty  three  arguments of Sadra about immaterial and separable existence of rational soul  have failed or weakened and two are evoked and instead offered  eighteen arguments for immateriality of soul subestace Here Sadra’s philosophy is highlighted in addressing expelanatory gaps  of emergentism regarding emergence and survival of the soul (mind) after death and the realization of ontological reward (emergence of afterdeath rewards from the soul and his/her  reerved qualities). Through transcending materialist and properties emergentism and presenting well-grounded arguments for emergence of immaterial subestance of mind (soul), the problem of close dependence of the soul on the body and their mutual interaction is explained here. inspired of properties emergentism, and Sadra’s theory it is deduced that in this world the soul emerges from the body system and  during its essence attachment to the body (although it is separable), it is influenced from body system and its health or disorders aside these influences are considered as emergent properties for soul/mind and donot affect soul/mind survival after death. On the contrary the soul/mind is afected by his/her faculties and aptitudes isolated from body system and become innate and inherited for ontologically separable soul/mind. This view is different from subestance emergentism of William Hsker and others. The contribution of this study provides new meanings in the traditions about  the creation of soul before body and help to  have creationist views about Evolution theory; that is in spite of acceptance of Evolution, the orintation of soul is only God, not matter or physics.
