Analisis and Evaluation of Epistemology, Ontology, Semantic of Divine Atributes in view of Abumansoor Maturidi

One of the most important theological issues in theology science is the question of divine attributes. According to Abumansor Maturidi the founder of Maturidiyyah and his followers, the best way of knowledge of God is knowledge of his attributes. The present paper seeks to elaborate and analyze different dimensions of epistemology, ontology, and semantic of divine names and attributes in vieow of Abumansor Maturidi so that it transpires that founder of Maturidiyyah with use of these principles could systematize theological teaching of his school in topic of divine attributes. Maturidiyyah based on two principles of divine law (Shar) and reason (Aql) use revealed proofs to knowledge of essential, intellectual, Narrated Attributes whereas they regard independently reason as recourse of knowledge. In ontology of attributes, their existence is accepted as real object. They try to have knowledge of attributes and prove attributes by proofs of world creation, defect and fault negation of essence of the creator, demonstration of perfection attributes, ruminating on particularities of created word while the reason is great worth to them for knowledge of attributes and demonstration of them. In addition to general proofs, there are especially rational and revealed proofs for each attribute that he proves them by them. In his opinion and followers, attributes are existential and real objects but relation between divine essence and divine attributes are interpreted based on theory of (La hova vala ghirah). That means attributes of God are neither unified with the essence of God nor separated from the essence. No doubt he has a lot of challenges to explain this theory. He tries to rationalize meaning of essence Narrated Attributes on the basis of rational arguments by divine low (Shar) and reason (Aql). If meaning of these attributes culminates in ambiguous issues and usage of figurative meaning, He doesn’t define words appearances believing that God is exalted above any defect and fault negation   and interpret them base on rational proofs, explicit verses (Mohkamat) and view of linguists. They sometimes advocate theory of delegation (Tafwize). This article is prepared with research in sources and works of founder of Maturidiyyah and his followers analyzing their thoughts. A descriptive-analytical librarian method is used in this paper.
