Today, Hope is one of the most important and effective factors in everybody’s life today. When hope and hopefulness, which are of the main foundations of human material and spiritual life, are rooted in religious beliefs and sacred divine resources, their significance will be doubled and their attachment will extend beyond the material world and include the afterlife. Moreover, the role of the audiovisual media in shaping and educating society is proven to all and in today’s societies, there is hardly a day in which one of these two important medias has no role. This article examines the three categories of religion (Islam & Christianity), media, hope, as well as the different dimensions and types of Islamic and Christianity hope. It should also be mentioned that in an interview with Islamic and Christian theologians and media experts, the relationship between these three issues is examined and the media’s and must-find and strategies for improving media performance in the field of religion are presented at the end. Provided. The results show that despite the presence of more and more prominent religious teachings in the media, unfortunately, proper programming format, way of expressing these teachings, due diligence and attention have not been paid. Consequently, it has led to undermining religious messages in the media both in Visual and auditory form.
