This study falls within the framework of concern for the rights and privileges of the largest segment of the population, namely the workers, which have suffered what they have suffered in the previous eras of injustice and tyranny by employers, and due to the instability of work relations and its impact on workers and on the level of production, it was necessary that the study be about the settlement of these disputes by unions Workers through collective negotiations and claims, and the benefits and effective impact of collective negotiations in settling disputes and stabilizing labor relations between workers and employers and thus increasing and growing production, where collective negotiations are considered one of the best ways of amicable settlement, which has long prevented the strike from occurring and contributed to the demand for workers’ rights The first of these is wages and the rest of social, cultural and trade union rights, in line with what international organizations called for, especially the International Labor Organization, and this study aims to urge governments to enact laws and instructions that mimic the laws of countries that enjoy stable labor relations and make workers a partner in the productive process, where the basis of stability is Collective bargaining, as well as working on educating workers legally and unionly to be aware of their rights and how Its practice, mastery, and the first of them is collective bargaining

The study also focused on the Iraqi labor law, as it is a newly legislated law issued by a state that has transformed from a dictatorial regime to a free one.
