The main issue of this article is the study of historical sources and the properties of the validity of those sources in Tafsir al-Mizan from Allameh’s point of view.
In this research, Allameh Tabatabai’s view on the historical sources cited in Tafsir al-Mizan and their views on the acceptance or non-acceptance of historical reports by presenting each of the cited sources and mentioning examples of historical cases have been examined and examined according to their reliable criteria. . Allameh Tabatabai has used various historical sources in different sections in interpreting Al-Mizan.
The late Allameh considered history to be important and necessary, and it is requested to pay attention to it in the context of analyzing historical propositions.
Allameh has used various sources in Tafsir al-Mizan; The sources cited by Allameh in historical analysis are various sources such as narrative sources, interpretive sources, historical sources and theological sources.
In this dissertation, by studying Al-Mizan, the historical sources cited by Allameh are examined and how he uses historical sources and its types is clarified.
