The family is the first base for the physical, mental and social development of each individual in society. Families who are ignorant or disregardful of their rights and responsibilities are the cause of various social and psychological harms such as violence, addiction, flight and abnormal behaviors, and as a result, the upbringing of the next generation will be in crisis. Numerous and extensive researches show that there is an undeniable relationship between having religious faith of family and strengthening mental health, chastity, stability of marriage, preventing the rupture of family foundations, if the holy religion of Islam observes moral values in the environment. He considers the family and having an intimate relationship and the upbringing of righteous children as a part of worship and considers any misbehavior and loss of family rights as a cause of avoiding divine mercy. The findings of this study show that the consistency and durability of any society depends on the strength of families and knowledge of the educational instructions of Islam and adherence to good morals in the family environment is the most important step in achieving these sacred goals. The present study has taken a small step in explaining “strategies for strengthening the family in the laws of Afghanistan and comparing it with the Islamic perspective” using verses, hadiths, laws of Afghanistan and other texts based on a qualitative method.
