It is known that the army plays an important role in protecting and expanding the country, and maintaining its security inside and outside the country. The organization of the army was generously sponsored by the Fatimid dynasty, who took care of it to help them expand their influence in the country and the territories of Islamic countries. The importance of this study lies in studying the military role of the Fatimid army and introducing its most important military leaders and princes, as the Fatimid army achieved great successes at the Arab and Islamic levels. This research also seeks to find answers to very important questions related to an important aspect of the military and commercial aspects of the Fatimid Empire, and there are few studies on this topic, and it almost reflects another concept that contradicts the reality and importance of the Fatimid army, so the main result of this research is Finding and finding a valuable study that tells about an important period in the history of the Fatimid dynasty. As for the problem of the study, it indicates that the Fatimid dynasty, like other royal dynasties in the Middle Ages, went through a lot of hardships, turmoil, rivalries and conflicts, but they worked hard to build a strong and solid regime and a strong and prosperous Moroccan state, and researchers sought to prove the evidence that proves this fact, and they Fruitful and civilized work in those countries with high mountains and smooth lands, countries where the royal dynasty did not live long. As for the original question of the study, it is: What is the role of the military in the policy of the Fatimids? As for the hypothesis of the study, it is based on the fact that the Fatimids paid great attention to the military organization. Since they established their state in Morocco, they needed to create a huge and powerful army that would help them achieve their expansionist ambitions. The study reached important results in the study, most notably that the Fatimid army and soldiers went through periods of prosperity and difficult periods that led to its collapse. and achievements. The study adopts the historical descriptive method in studying historical facts and events in an inductive and descriptive manner, and then studying them in an analytical manner through which we rely on various and comparative sources and references, detailing and discussing them in our study in a way that results in the accuracy of the research hypotheses that we present as well as answering the original and subsidiary questions of our study.
