This study aims to introduce the programs offered by the Iraqi educational television, which has been established since the establishment of Iraqi television in 1955, and how to interact with it by Iraqi students in the intermediate stage, and to determine the personal skills of middle school students from the point of view of specialists, as well as to identify the positives and negatives that emerge Through distance education, and to ensure that the objectives of the educational process are achieved, especially through educational media, and specifically through the Iraqi educational television.

This study depends on the descriptive analytical method, and on the method of objective analysis. In our current research, the researcher focused on the technique of interviews with a number of academic personalities concerned and even experts in education, especially teaching methods.

As for the results, it was found that the students’ needs are very large, especially at the level of life skills and building the individual and social personality, and this channel cannot meet all the needs of the students, as the channel can be benefited by up to 40%. In addition, the programs presented by the Iraqi educational television are traditional programs related to the educational process, and are rarely exposed to the educational process or the development of life skills, in addition to that, distance education has led to a weakness in the level of most students, and thus part of the objectives of the educational educational process can be achieved.
