Education is one of the topics that has been considered by thinkers in the history of Islamic thought. Various methods and theories have been proposed about Islamic education and what it is, but it is beyond the scope of one research to address all of them. One of the educational methods that has been considered based on mystical principles is monotheism-based education. Islam is a monotheistic religion; Hence, it is necessary that its educational system also be based on monotheism; But the explanation and definition of monotheistic education and its principles and bases have been the point of disagreement among Muslim thinkers. In the present article, considering the multiplicity of views on monotheistic education, the author decided to simply explain, study and compare the views of two contemporary thinkers of the Islamic world, Allameh Tabatabai and Imam Khomeini; Because these two thinkers have had a great impact on contemporary Islamic thought, and on the other hand, due to their special place in philosophy and mysticism, they are considered commentators and critics of the thought of their predecessors. Meanwhile, the differences of opinion and intellectual similarities between these two mystics and philosophers also make their comparison instructive and necessary.
