The present study investigates the position of woman and family (concept of woman and family) in the content of social science textbooks of elementary, middle school and high school. The research method is content analysis. Population and Statistical Sample of all Social Sciences Textbooks; Elementary (Four Books), Middle school (Three Books) and Highschool (Three Books) in the 98-99 Academic Year. The data gathering tool in this study is using content analysis table. The concepts discussed in this table are selected from the family concepts found in the textbooks as well as the study of books and articles related to the concept of woman and family, as well as the use of the opinions of scholars and experts in this field. The information contained in the content analysis table is from the context of text, images, queries, and worksheets in general. The method of analysis is based on the data and information obtained from the content analysis table and description statistics related to the research questions. This information has been analyzed and interpreted based on the predicted goals and the questions raised in this research. Twenty-one concepts have been selected for inclusion in the content analysis table by first reviewing the literature on women’s and family concepts and examining the above textbooks. After analyzing this twenty-one concept, using the relevant table, it was found that 33.24% of the total content of social science textbooks included (four elementary, three upper secondary, and three upper secondary) are speaking about Position of Woman and Family. In Relationship to the concepts of woman and family are the whole concepts of family in these ten volumes of school books, according to the findings of this study 3324 cases out of which 564 in elementary level 1389 in middle school and 1371 in high schools, presented in the form of texts, pictures, questions and worksheets Is.
