Scientific research is a scientific method in order to create a unified and comprehensive picture through the development and strengthening of the researcher’s methodology and theory in a specialized and scientific field, which can be done by highlighting it to shape its subject. Based on a clear scientific theory, and accurate methodology and in accordance with a special scientific-research essence. Media and communication phenomena are known due to their different nature from other phenomena, because they require the use of qualitative methods mostly due to the complexity and overlap of elements, communication with each other, continuity of change and connection of those concepts. And these concepts are related to the social, cultural, political and economic contexts that it has, in order to answer the questions raised. For this reason, in this research, the researcher has used the critical discourse analysis theory-method of Laclau and Mouffe model with the help of Fairclough model. This research seeks to answer the question: How is Iran’s position on the Yemen war reflected in the Al_Arabiye network? Based on this, the main question of this research is as follows: What is Iran’s position towards the Al_Arabiye network regarding the war in Yemen? Since every feedback is the result of an ideological background, therefore, the researcher, through the studied samples which are the news broadcasted on the Al-Arabiya network, reached several conclusions, the most important of which are: This discourse on the Al-Arabiya TV tries to strengthen unity and integrity in the region. A region as wide as “from the ocean to the gulf” emphasize on common issues such as: history, language and cultural sharing, as much as possible incongruous components such as: deprivation, convergence towards various synergies and putting aside the fixed principles of Iran and Shiism in order to create a new identity with the basic condition of being Arab. The new hegemony of the Arabs in the Middle East and the rejection of Iran’s intervention in the Arab countries and the establishment of new authority with the new discourse of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through confrontation with the new discourse of the Islamic Republic of Iran, are among the other components and partnerships considered by this Saudi network.
