Judaism and Christianity in the Point of View of Allamah Tabataba’I in al-Mizan

This study deals with the historical biography of the Jews and Christians and their scriptures and sacred beliefs in the point of view of Allamah Tabataba’i according to the holy verses of the Holy Quran. The study depended on the inductive method and the religious comparison of their texts. The research contains a foreword and three chapters: chapter one is titled (the totality of the study of reasons in choosing the subject, the paradox of the study, the limits of the study, the problem of the study and the methodology of authoring). Chapter two (the importance of studying the religions and the books of the Jew and their dogmas in the point of view of Allamah Tabataba’i). Chapter three contained the books of the Christianity and the Christian belief in the point of view of Allamah Tabataba’I according to his interpretation named (al-Mizan) which is related to deity and prophecies. The research is based on analytic and descriptive method mainly the interpretation of (al-Mizan) which uses the interpretation of the verses by the verses. This study has reached some results such as all the beliefs of the Jew and the Christian which have been mentioned in the Holy Quran are found in their sacred books. eanwhile, the Christian did not believe in which Jesus (pbuh) called for and did not believe in what is mentioned in the Gospel regarding our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and the religion of Islam while the prophecy is considered the main point of all heavenly religions. Hence, we did not point but to the Holy Quran since it is the real teachings of Allah, and that the Jew were the openly enemies to the whole prophets, even more than the Christian who pretended that Jesus is the son of Allah. Therefore, Allamah Tabataba’I interpreted every important point in his book (al-Mizan) regarding the Jew and the Christian. It is known that the Jew have distorted their sacred books (the Torah) of Moses (pbuh) and made it compatible to their aims and as they please. The infidelity of the Jew is caused by their fanaticism and stubbornness. We ask Allah to accept this humble work and make it useful to those who are eager to learn more.
