Para(parallel) text seems that changes in the viewpoints of modern critical speech text to what surrounded in subjects that’s presented the export phrases for the cover image and font shape studied create literary tension for reader when discovers the worlds of the text or which suggested in them making the reader linked between external sign that represented in the text and internal sign that represented in its text expanded the process of interpretation and enriches the semantics inspired by literary text. For this reason this search try to use application in this critical method and novel, specifically in the contemporary Iraqi novel. A name novelist Jumaa Al-lami that engraved its letter in the travel of Iraqi novelists has been chosen skillfully. The researcher has dealt with the parallel text in the narration of Jumaa Al- lami according to the data of the semiotic method. The study concluded and she is turned to parallel text which represents a paradigm shift in the semiotic studies, So, she considers to text what’s in it and what’s in parallel with it therefore, she attempt to reveal the effect of inside to outside or relationship of outside with inside for coding and richness meaning for this reason, this study tried to reply the question of boss what is the status of the parallel text in Jumaa Al- lami’s semiotic narration? One of the most important results that the researcher herself reached to it ,we can point out that parallel text is no different in its importance to reader of text and I found the Jumaa Al- lami narration relies on charging his parallel text and make it richness in meaning, but through a theoretic approach to thresholds text, I concluded that central thresholds subjects cannot read without accessing the original text and without access to its worlds, that its subjects originated from the cultural heritage and some of subjects rely on its connotations based on displacement, intensification and working within the meaning but the threshold of monitoring moon has its importance in modern critical speech text when its surrounded by connotations which reveal the worlds of text and this threshold has multiple functions that were shown by suspense and symbolic function in research found that ,etc.….
