The issue of women’s rights in general is one of the issues currently on the international and national arena, which has taken the lead in global and local attention, especially after the end of World War II and the emergence of bodies and organizations of the international community concerned with human rights and fundamental freedoms, from which many declarations and international agreements in various fields of human rights emerged. . And after the economic development project became the preoccupation of all countries and the consideration of the labor force as the basis for the construction and economic advancement of the state, and the entry of women into the field of work outside the home, after the field of work was limited to raising children and housekeeping only, after all the developments that took place in the field of work, it was necessary to know What are the rights of working women, especially after enabling women to engage in this economic activity, and the approach to empowerment has become, in this decade, the main entrance that many countries seek.
From this point of view came the necessity to study the legal status of working women in the legislation of Arab countries and international conventions to shed light on the work of women and the extent of its legality, development and protection, in addition to the position of the Iraqi legislator and the Arab countries towards them, and accordingly we divided the study into three chapters, we referred in the first chapter to the concepts and faculties we divided The first section is to explain the concepts and the second topic is the colleges. In the second chapter, we presented the rights of working women in the legislation of Arab countries, charters and international regulations. We divided it into three sections: the first topic is the right to equality, the second topic is the right to protection, and the third topic is the organization of work and leave, and we separated the discussion in the chapter The third is the guarantee of working women and compensation, and we divided it into two sections, the first section is guaranteeing the working woman and the second topic is compensation, then we concluded the thesis with results and recommendations, and we ask God for success.
