The Islamic civilization was characterized by a set of characteristics and advantages, these characteristics and advantages that made it different from the rest of the civilizations that existed before it or that accompanied it, where belief was the basis of Islamic civilization, as well as among its civil characteristics and advantages that were accompanied by the emergence of several cities, each of which had a special character, Where the two cities of Samarkand and Baghdad dominated the scientific and cultural character, where the city of Samarkand was specialized in the translations of men of science and knowledge, jurisprudence and others, and many books were interested in translations, including the book “Al-Qand in the Remembrance of the Scholars of Samarkand” by its owner Al-Nasafi, this book that contained between its two covers more than A thousand translations of many scholars in the different and different arts of sciences. The book “Al-Qand” which is the subject of the study demonstrated the extent of the interest of the people of Samarkand in seeking knowledge through the translations he mentioned between its two covers, both translations of those who traveled to Baghdad as the capital of the Islamic world at the time in search of science And literature and arts, or those who came to Samarkand to learn about its scholars and sheikhs, the original question is who are the scholars who traveled between the two cities of Baghdad and Samarkand through the Book of Al-Qand in the mention of the scholars of Samarkand, and as for M. The research approach is a historical and descriptive approach. As for the results of the research, the research reached tangible results, in terms of the Islamic conquest, which led to the stability of the political situation in it and helped the emergence of a number of scholars in various fields. Both categories of transmission and rationality, and these scholars contributed to the transfer of knowledge and culture between the two cities in various scientific, cultural and religious fields, and it was found that there is intellectual and civilizational cross-fertilization between the two cities, especially that the people of Samarkand were in dire need to learn the teachings of the new Islamic religion.
