Current democratic practice is one of the most central matters that people need in selecting a system of government apart from dictatorial regimes, through which candidates are elected to occupy chief positions in the state. In order to accomplish a democratic system resulting from transparent and discreet elections, it is essential to study the nature of the electoral process.

The aim of this study, which was entitled “The Relationship between Electoral Propaganda and the Iraqi Voter’s Choices in the Iraqi Parliament Elections, 2021: A field Study for the Public of Al-Nasiriya City” is to investigate the role that electoral propaganda played in influencing the choices of the Iraqi voter in Iraqi parliament elections 2021. The researcher reached several conclusions: most considerably, electoral propaganda helped to mobilize public opinion to participate in the elections, and worked on informing voters of their candidates and their electoral programmes. The study also revealed that voters wanted to elect a candidate who is apart from foreign agendas and works to combat corruption and provide services.
