This study aims to identify the commercial relationship between Iraq and the Hijaz and its role in Islamic civilization in the first three centuries of migration, despite the disagreement of historians and their differences in the interpretation of the events of this period of our Islamic history and the sensitivity of modernity to it and its interpretation, I chose this topic that tries to show The role of trade in the stage of the prosperity of Islamic civilization and charting its commercial symptoms during this time period. In economic and commercial history, it faced an important problem, which is the diversity of sources of information from historical, jurisprudential, literary and commercial synthesizers. Patience for a semi-literal study to collect relevant information on this one hand, and on the other hand, the researchers’ lack of touching on this topic, in addition to the nature of the topic, all of this created a problem in developing the plan and collecting information. To achieve the objectives of the study, a synthetic approach was used from the analytical-descriptive and the method of standardization to collect information by reviewing traditional and modern sources, scientific articles and extracting information after interviewing and applying them with each other. In establishing a commercial relationship between Hejaz and Iraq. Markets were the place for buying and selling goods and the center of commerce and industry. Markets played an important role in internal and external trade and in economic and social life. The mosque was the most important element in the Islamic cities and formed the main economic pillar of the city.
