He also received the Iraqi Creativity Award for the novel “Janu Anta Hekayati” in 2019. Mislon, a storyteller, is one of the Iraqi Arab women who has nearly
forty years of experience in the field of narration. This novelist has published six novels and a number of short story collections and contributed to literary articles. This research is a critical reading of the novels of the Iraqi author (Mislon Hadi) which investigates the character in his novels and its relationship with other narrative elements in his novels and tries to find a way to get familiar with the humanity subjects, the author’s thought and his approach to life. This research focuses on the stylistic aspect of the novel and pays attention to the author’s style, language and choice of words in the novel and selects parts of the author’s novels to review and analyze them. Among the results of this research are that the narrative discourse in this author’s novels is a directional, original and conscious discourse and there is an overlap in the construction of times and their connection to each other during the seasons of the novel, which causes reconstruction in its conception and also the events have been synchronized in such a way that there is a difference between the time of the narration and the time of the incident and the content of the narration is divided into more than several axes so that there is a simultaneity in their occurrences in terms of time, and this is due to the diversity of the spatial perspective between the virtual place, the objective place, the hypothetical place and the place with biological experience. Also, the author has her own language that distinguishes her from others, and there are stylistic phenomena in her writings, which she relies on that style in this novel and other novels.
