The aim of the research is to learn about (faith) a comparative study between Tafsir al-Mizan and Tafsir al-Kabir of Ibn Taymiyyah. Faith is the term of the form of an important issue in the science of speech. It is a basic and fundamental issue arising from the proof of the human element’s need for transcendental existence. The discussion of the Muslim thinkers on the issue of faith and its requirements. Maybe the beginning of the research in this topic was not related to the literal dimension, but it was related to the practical dimension. It was the problem that was the accusation of the speakers at that stage because of the relationship between faith and action. I considered a group like Al-Khawarij, Mu’tazila, and Ahl al-Hadith al-Alam to be part of the concept of faith. And the belief of the congregation like al-Marji’a and most of the Shiite speakers is outside the concept of faith, even if it is a condition. In this title, the importance of the message is related to the al-Jawhari term for the term “belief” and its corresponding meaning, i.e. disbelief, between the Qur’anic concepts and vision. Also, the belief and the elements associated with me are the concepts that the scholars of Islam charge. The thesis faced some difficulties, including the lack of sources and studies about faith in interpretation in general, and interpretation of Al-Mizan and interpretation of al-Kabir. Also, the research aims to explain the concept of faith in the Qur’an and a comparison between al-Tafsir al-Kabir by Ibn Taymiyyah and al-Tafsir al-Mizan by Sayyid Tabatabai. Faith, according to Sayyid al-Tabataba’i, contains a group of related concepts, but at the same time, they are not one. So, if we want to define faith, we must emphasize on the semantic concepts of it. Some of these concepts come as synonyms of faith, and some of them are explanations for it, but the definition of faith according to Ibn Taymiyyah is derived from security. Therefore, it is used in the news of trusting the informer, like the command of the unseen, who trusts the informer, and this is why the word Amen is not found in the Qur’an, except in this type. Sayyed Muhammad Hossein Tabatabai and Ibn Taymiyyah took a big step in this field. Sayyed al-Tabataba’i entered into the concept of faith through practical commitment and heart agreement; As for Ibn Taymiyyah, I did it during the cardiac activity. Wakala al-Hamafteen – practical obligation and heart-related contract are related to the soul. And he solved the problem of crossing from the field of knowledge to the field of action in his own way.
