The title of the current study is the framework followed in the moral and reformist movement of the prophets from the perspective of the Holy Qur’an. It is an objective study about the approach and movement of prophets and messengers, their principles, their lives, and what they established for their people since Prophet Adam (PBUH) to the Last Prophet. And my research was focused on the content regarding “ulul azm” or arch-prophets. The Holy Qur’an includes multiple stories and situations which goals are morality and reform, but what we want to highlight is what is related to the fate of society from the Qur’anic perspective in particular.
We will show during the research that the principles followed in their moral movement consist of placing bondage and shackles on ignorance and paganism and distinction of all kinds, also avoiding lust, removing forgetfulness and reminder for guidance and eliminating negligence, while the principles followed in their reform movement consist of standing up for God and rejecting the tyrant and holding up justice. And the fruits of their call (da’wah) are the development of noble morals, creation and preservation of civilization, then we present some suggestions and recommendations.
Then we emphasize that one of the most important ethical frameworks laid down by the prophets according to Qur’an is the establishment of justice among people, since justice in Islam is a right guaranteed by God Almighty to all races of people regardless of ideological and denominational differences, whether it is between the ruler and the ruled or between people and their dealings, because justice in the laws of Islam stems from the law of God, which is Islam. One of the most important reform frameworks that the prophets followed is building and maintaining society and civilization, by completing and following the belief, as the society that is based on its belief and good work prevails in cooperation and solidarity among its members.
