The Shiites and Alawites faced great persecutions over time by the Umayyad and Abbasid authorities and others, so many of this sect went to death and their pure blood was unjustly shed. But the main question is that why did the Alawites know about the revolutions against the rulers, especially in the Abbasid era, when they cooperated to overthrow the Umayyad rule, the Alawites with the Abbasids, and they had a great role in the emergence of the Abbasid court? This is the question that we tried to study with a comparative comparison from the two books “Morouj Al-Dhahab” by Al-Masoudi and “The History of Al-Tabari” to get to know the reality of what happened to the Alawites at that time. It becomes clear from our study that the Alawites, both private and public, old and young, both from the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, and from the common people, faced a great and intense injustice in the Abbasid rule that was greater than what they were in the Umayyad era because of the Abbasid court’s fear of them and their domination. The beginnings of the Abbasid rule took Al-Saffah and Al-Mansur to pressure the Ahl al-Bayt and their Shiites so that they would not have opportunities to overthrow the Abbasid court. Which caused movements and revolutions against them and spilled the blood of many Alawites. This is what al-Masoudi and al-Tabari both mention, even if when they explain the revolutions, they speak, especially al-Tabari, in favor of the Abbasid rulers, because we know of the excessive love of the Abbasid rulers in the same al-Tabari and his likes. To the extent that he can not deny the right in any way.
