The importance of the study was to demonstrate the importance of protecting the environment and the dangers that lead to damage to the environment, and to unite efforts among all States in the face of all these risks, and one of the findings of the researcher was that international environmental law constitutes a set of international legal rules and principles, which seek to protect, promote and preserve the environment, and this is done through the organization of the activities of the actors of the international community within the framework of prevention and mitigation of environmental damage and problems. In addition, there is a flaw in the implementation of the established policy for the protection of the environment at all levels locally and globally, and the protection of the environment in its various elements is closely linked to international security.
