Refinement of people’s souls and teaching them the ‘book’ and wisdom is one of Prophet’s status mentioned in the Holy Qur’an. One of the most important topics regarding refinement and education is to discover the current trials, which are God’s precedents, in human’s individual or social life for training their souls. Therefore, it is important for a Muslim to know the nature of the Divine trials, its methods, reasons and goals through the Quranic revelation and to learn how to face them before, during and after the trial so that he/she can face them with knowledge and good manners and pass the trials successfully. This research examines these issues regarding general trials and special tests of prophets in the Holy Quran and shows that trials have some procedures; it appears in the form of difficulty, ease, property, children, body, and even in the form of sufferings on the way to invite to God’s path; sometimes it is an abundance of blessings and sometimes it’s loss, and sometimes it is to practice religious duties. Trials have purposes such as: measuring the level of patience, charity or obedience, raising the grade of believers, sifting them, purity from sins, and chastising those who disobey God’s commands. There are valuable instructions for the believers, in Islamic narrations, to be polite towards their Lord during the trials and to know the ways to successfully bring them to the end. Finally, applying these teachings to the situation in the Corona Epidemic – as an example of Divine trials – this article examines how to interact with these trials and determines that Islam has obligatory commands to save lives and prevent death. It is also appropriate for a believer to observe the customs of faith; consider trials as Divine traditions, have muhasibah and muraqabah (meditatation), seek repentance, be patient and have good suspicion to God, avoid anxiety and intolerance and learn from others, be satisfied with God’s command and hope for reward from Him and realize that the hardships will pass. The important point is to pray to God during both individuals and group trials and be stable and resistant during or after the trial.
