is study aimed to identify the difference between the attribution of deception to God Almighty from the point of view of the two Imams Al-Alusi and Imam Al-Tabatabai through the interpretation of the balance and the spirit of the meanings. The study with the most important results:

  • Imam Al-Alusi، may God have mercy on him، followed a well-known path among the scholars of belief، which is: that God، Glory be to Him، is worthy of His Exalted Essence، every perfection that befits Him، the Most High.
  • Adding cunning to God must have a special meaning، which is: God Almighty lures the disobedient servant until he destroys him in his negligence; likening it to deception، but its reality is not deception; The slave is the one who deceived himself by doing it.
  • Sheikh Al-Imam Al-Tabtaba’i looked at the subject as deception in the sense of impressing the hearts، diverting them from the truth، and attaching them to material desires and the adornments of life، and made deception change the bad with good. peace be upon him، which is: “He who has expanded his worldly affairs and does not know that he was deceived by it is deceived from his mind.”
