This Tolerance is an important principle of the monotheistic religions, affirmed by the Holy Qur’an in many linguistic and grammatical methods. Tolerance is pardon and forgiveness, and tolerance, and tolerance represents the pinnacle of morals and its advancement. This research started from the role of tolerance in spreading fraternity and drawing a picture of tolerance and rapprochement between the Islamic religion and the Christian religion, which God urged in the Holy Qur’an. Therefore, this research came to shed light on the relationship established by the Holy Qur’an and translated by the Messenger of God in his behavior, attitudes and directives, which is tolerance, with linking tolerance with the values called for by Islam to highlight the relationship between the two religions, in addition to a statement of the historical interrelationship between Islam and other religions, as opposed to the spiritual aspect. of the Islamic religion. This research relied on the descriptive analytical method in explaining the verses and their connection to the interpretation of the Holy Qur’an and the use of printed books, magazines and internet sites, and the scientific material in this research was collected from the Holy Quran and Islamic studies that dealt with tolerance. Christianity. At the end of this research, a number of important results were reached, the most important of which is that tolerance is not waiver, leniency, or neutrality towards others, but rather recognition of another. Rather, it is mutual respect and recognition of the universal rights of a person and the fundamental freedoms of others, and it alone is the guarantee of achieving coexistence among peoples marked by diversity and difference. And that if we go back to the honorable Sunnah of the Prophet, we will find dozens of hadiths and positions through which the tolerance of the Prophet (PBUH and his family) is evident with other religions, especially Christianity.
