Conversion is religious change and changing in religiosity. It is a general topic that include spiritual transformation, intensifying or decreasing faith and commitment to religion, apostasy, changing denominations and cults, chang in the way of being religious (e.g going from exotericism toward esotericism, or from institutional relegions toward spiritualy) and all other concepts that somehow related to “human, change and religion”. Despite this fact that we have more that one century experiences in studying conversion, still a comprehensive theory yet to be achieved. In this research we had a glance on scientific researches of conversion based on psychological, sociological and anthropological approaches and at the end for a better undrestandig of this phenomena and it`s complexity, we choosed lewis Rambo`s process theory, which is a holestic, convergence and hireostic model, that try to propose a comprehensive framework for studing conversion using different approaches. Based on this theory conversion is a process that should be considered in 7 stages: context, crisis, quest, encounter, interaction, commitment, and consequences. Every stage has main elements that some methods and approaches can cover them better. Psychology can help us to understand individualistic nuances of conversion experiences, sociology give us a general view of main streams of conversions, and anthropology studies conversion in it`s diversity. Nevertheless conversion is multi dimensional phenomenon that shouldn’t be reduced to one of it`s dimensions.
