One of the factors for development of shi’ism and it’s tendency to kalãm and reason is the challenges between shi’ite scholers and scholers of other Islamic denominations. Due to the similarities between Ray and the shi’ite theological school of Baghdad, the school of Ray is considered as one of the rationalist schools of shi’ism. Sadid al-din Hemmasy is the representative of this school of kalãm and the best document of the approaches of that period is the Naghz of Abd Al-jalil Ghazviny which is written in refutation of accusations claimed by the author of faza’eh.In this book, Ghazviny defences shi’a believes in theological manner. This thesis is going to discuss the characteristic of shi’ite theological school in the thirteenth century and the main reference for this goal is Almonghez by Hemmasy, because it is written in scholastic and classical method.Taken together, these two books provide us a portrait of osooli (principal) of shi’ism which is the title of that century according to Gazvini.this version of sh’iism gives the reason high position and respects for the other denominations.
