The issue of martyrs and martyrdom has existed since the first days of the Prophet’s Prophetic (peace on him) in Islam, and throughout history, the enemies of Islam have been the source of many Muslims’ martyrdom. This issue is based on historical events, at different times with different dimensions and intensities, and the first martyr in Islam is Somayeh. Therefore, this issue is one of the most important issues of ideological and jurisprudential issues and has always been investigated by the scholars of Islam. The martyr and its related issues have different jurisprudential rulings to which they must first be carefully addressed. The martyr is said to be referred to a person in the jurisprudence term by the permission of the Prophet, (peace on him), or the Imams (peace on him) in the battlefield with the infidels. Although there are many traditions that some other people also call martyrs, they are not subject to the martyrs’ jurisprudence. Among the martyr’s jurisprudential rulings is that they should be buried without bathing and shrouding and with the same costume of battle, but if they are not dressed, they should be shrouded. The present research studies the knowledge of martyrs in all aspects, and examines the related jurisprudential rulings from the point of view of the Imamite jurisprudence and the traditional religions of the Sunni. In this research, after reviewing the generalities of the research and describing the concepts related to it in the first chapter, the second chapter deals with the subject of martyrdom and the martyr from the point of view of Imamiyah and Sunni. Then in the third chapter, the jurisprudential rulings of the martyr from the point of view of the Imamiyya such as bathing and burial of the martyr, Shahid copper and … are considered, and the fourth chapter deals with the jurisprudential rulings of the martyr from the point of view of the four sects of Sunni religions.
