Moderation in the concept of “average” and religious behavior in the concept of good interaction with all people, with all their dimensions, have a significant place in Islamic thought. Contrary to what has been mentioned in the Old Testament regarding the emphasis on racial discrimination, we do not find any manifestations of moderation and religious interaction in them. It is interesting that the Qur’an has not limited religious moderation and interaction to a specific area such as belief or thought, but has emphasized adherence to these two in the atmosphere of family and society in particular and in interaction with infidels in general. Relying on the great importance of moderation and religious interaction in the Holy Quran and the necessity of adhering to them in all areas of life, Atefeh examines and analyzes these two moral indicators in the verses of the Quran, focusing on two important Shia-Sunni interpretations: Al-Mizan in Tafsir al-Qur’an by Allamah We discussed Tabatabayi and the shadows of the Qur’an by Seyyed Qutb. It is worth mentioning that, relying on the analytical-interpretive method, we compared the views of these two interpretations regarding moderation and religious interaction, its dimensions and manifestations in the Holy Quran. In general, this essay consists of four chapters: the first chapter, on the one hand, is related to the generalities and concepts, including the statement of the problem, questions, hypotheses, etc., and on the other hand, to the definition of Tafsir al-Mizan by Allameh Tabatabai and Tafsir Fi Zhalal al-Qur’an by Seyyed Qutb. To be the second chapter deals with moderation and religious interaction against the infidels, focusing on the interpretation of al-Mizan. In the third chapter, moderation and religious interaction against infidels are mentioned, focusing on the interpretation of the shadows of the Qur’an. The fourth chapter is also a comparison of Tafsir al-Mizan and the shadows of the Qur’an about moderation and religious interaction.
